FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions about dentistry, you’ll find the answers here.
Yes, mild, dull pain or sensitivity is completely normal after a root canal. This usually lasts for a few days and can be easily relieved with over-the-counter pain relievers. However, if you experience sharp, throbbing, or worsening pain, be sure to contact your dentist, as further examination may be necessary.

If you have received a local anesthetic, do not eat anything until the numbness has worn off. Because of the numbness, you could easily injure your lips, tongue, or the inside of your face.

The effects of the anesthetic usually last for 2–3 hours, but this can vary from person to person. Your dentist will always provide detailed information about any other dietary restrictions related to your treatment.

You can easily and quickly schedule an appointment at our Budapest dental office by phone, email, or online. Our staff will help you find the appointment time that works best for you.
Proper aftercare following a tooth extraction is very important to ensure quick healing and prevent complications. All of our patients receive detailed instructions on what to do. The detailed guide can be viewed here: What to Do After Tooth Extraction In case of severe pain, increasing swelling, or prolonged bleeding, please contact us immediately.

A dental implant is a small but extremely strong titanium alloy screw that is used to surgically replace missing natural teeth. The implant is drilled into the jawbone so that the screw can firmly connect the denture to the jawbone. It thus functions like the root of our natural teeth.
